Votes for Catholic Women!
At the Synod on Youth, Faith, and Vocational Discernment, only 10% of the participants are women – and they are non-voting members.
Even with the new Synod guidelines, which creates the possibility for non-ordained voting members for Synod, when asked why women are still excluded, the Vatican offered this argument:
We refuse to stand by quietly with such absurdly inadequate and unequal representation.
Will you show your support for a voting role for women at the Synod? Join WOC in calling for Votes for Catholic Women!
- Put on a white shirt (the color of the suffragist movement),

Sign our petition today calling on the Synod to allow women religious superiors to vote. We will hand-deliver it to the participants starting on October 18!
And, tell the Church: No donation without representation. Instead, make an investment in equality with a donation to the Women’s Ordination Conference. ✔️✔️✔️
