Save the Date – An Evening with Joan Chittister and Teresa Forcades

The Women’s Ordination Conference is thrilled to announce our fall event, Radicals and The Rule, a conversation between Benedictine sisters Joan Chittister and Teresa Forcades in Washington, D.C. on the evening of October 11th. This will be the first encounter between these Catholic feminist sheroes — you won’t want to miss it! 

These radical sisters follow the Rule of Benedict – but they’re not afraid to challenge other rules. Let’s get inspired, activated, and renewed by their dialogue together.

To prepare for the event, we invite you to join WOC members in reading Sr. Joan’s latest book, The Time Is Now: A Call to Uncommon Courage. We will host a WOC book club conversation on October 2nd at 7 p.m. Eastern Time via teleconference.
