This Lent, the Women’s Ordination Conference will host a series of workshops for our Young Feminist Network members to:
- Expand and explore spiritual foundations and expressions;
- Deepen understanding and practical applications of various liberation theologies;
- Enhance leadership skills as activists, ministers, and people on the path toward justice.
WHO: Young adults (20-40) with Catholic roots and a passion for intersectional justice
WHAT: A series of workshops consisting of video presentations by experts in their fields that you engage with at your own pace; recommended resources provided by presenters; a private Slack channel to connect with other participants in the program; and bi-weekly roundtable Zoom calls (noon ET) with our video presenters and other participants. Program participants can opt to partake in any or all of the offerings throughout the series.
WHEN: Lent 2022
- Week of February 28: Engaging Spirituality (Zoom roundtable on March 4)
- Week of March 14: Theologies on the Margins (Zoom roundtable on March 18)
- Week of March 28: Finding Your Role in a Movement (Zoom roundtable on April 1)
Participants must currently be, or become, members of the Women’s Ordination Conference. (Annual membership $45, Student/reduced income rate $25)
