My spirituality is Trinitarian, inclusive of all.

Description of identity as a women priest/feminist minister: I have been called to the priesthood since the 1980’s. I have been involved in the women’s ordination movement and was on the National Board of Women’s Ordination Conference from 1999 to 2005. I firmly believe in the radical idea that men and women are equal before God in all aspects of our humanity. I firmly believe that the Roman Catholic church will not change unless “we live the change we envision.” We enflesh the equality of men and women by our actions.

Location of services: Greater Chicago, IL
Description of Services and/or Ministry:I believe that I assist in the coordination and
clarity of the interdenominational growth of a varied network of spiritual
progressives. I support – as an artist several spiritual leaders who have
assumed the karmic burdens and challenges of genuine and creative pastoral
leadership within all religious traditions. I am a connector, a stabilizer,
and a truth force. I am semi-reetired and this is my chosen life’s work and
authentic vocation. I profoundly want the world to individually and
personally know the amazing God of Energy that has been revealed to me
outside of Church strictures and narrowmindedness. I see the same love in
me, manifest and expressed in many American and international mystics. The
world is no longer Rome’s game…all want the real deal, the real
experiences, the real consonace between religious image and God experienced
in life reality, in life solutions. This is what I try to do daily as my
own pastoral ministry. I feel it is a profound blessing to be called and
ordained to be a Sufi priest. At this time, it is truly more catholic and
universal than Rome’s version of the Christ. It is as a Sufi that I
exercise healing love for the Christ in all. My Sufi ordination is my real
blessing, strength, freedom and power. It is why I stand for women so
fearlessly. I KNOW God is calling and ordaining women…I also know why
women are called to this at this time in our history. Our founding fathers
are with us profoundly.

Address: Ocean Avenue Portland, Maine 04103
Description of Services:
My services include spiritual direction, blessings, homilies, as well as the usual sacramental services for the sick, dying, baptisms, weddings, along with designing and conducting services for interfaith people. I am especially passionate about designing, conducting, and facilitating retreats for people who want to deepen their faith. The retreats can be a brief as a half day or as long as a week or month. Meditation, from various wisdom traditions also play an integrative part of the spiritual work as an interfaith minister, honoring and including all faith/wisdom traditions. As Matthew Fox and others have taught: we are many wells, but we are all connected to one, deep, and sacred river… I celebrate the many names of God and the many ways which help us connect and interact with God/Goddess/Great Spirit. I have been a teacher/college professor, and continue my work (25 years) as a psychotherapist, and substance abuse counselor. These careers blend beautifully with the soul work of an interfaith minister. In the youthful part of my life, I spent 8 years as a professed Catholic nun, and continue to honor the wonderful women who continue their vocations in this area of catholic service. It is my pleasure to assist with retreats and spiritual direction when requested to do so.

Our Purpose: The St. Valentine Faith Community is a spiritual Christian community dedicated to the practice of a Catholic faith, where all are welcome. Together we are called to realize our spirituality by living Christ’s teachings. We encounter the loving and forgiving presence of Jesus in one another and in our celebration of the sacraments.
